what's life about?

Yesterday I was hit hard with a sledge hammer (not literally) with

some of the worst news anyone could imagine. When I got off the phone

I began to shake unfortunately I am not allowed to discuss it on my blog.

The news was so hard hitting it made me think how one little

thing one timy millisecond can change your life forever, permanently.

I once made a comment to Joe that as we get older we have more

experiences that we take with us as we are on this journey. The trouble

seems to be is that the one's that have the most impact are the

negative experiences. If you think back on your childhood think of

a bad and a good experience and the bad one will stir up the emotions and

be more vivid. So when these bad experieces are so nasty they change your

life and who you are. Then you get on with life but you are carrying

that horrible experience and then the experience before and so on and so on.

So when these experiences are so life shattering what chance does that

person have. One of my friends who I grew up with lost her son last year

he was only 8 months old and there is so much sadness in her. I believe

for the rest of her life she will have that hanging over her head. Feeling guilty

if she's laugh, always wondering what he would of been like. His first steps, His first

day of school, his first girlfriend and so on. All of this senselessly

gone in one day the cycle of his life never to be completed and then

left behind are empty, sad vessels left wondering WHY? it's pointless

isn't it? why give us this treasure and take it away.

So this is the point behind my blog is to vent my anger at how

damaging and real life is and then it dawned on me and I realized

the this is life, this is it as we get older it's serious stuff and

it's how we deal with this serious stuff that counts we all get

thown crap but it's if we get up and keep going after the crap is dished.

Nothing like this seemed to happen when I was younger well nothing

of this extent. So I feel that yes life is unfair and definately more

unfair for some than others but as I said before.
